About the school

Georgia Institute of Technology, then known as Georgia School of Technology, welcomed its first batch of students in 1888. The institution established in 1885 adopted the present name to reflect a growing emphasis on cutting-edge scientific research and technological advancement. Georgia Tech offers accommodation in its Residence Halls with traditional, suite and apartment-style rooms. Housing also includes several amenities like internet access, laundry, parking, bicycle and campus transit, etc.

Dining at Georgia Tech offers students diverse and delicious meal plans at the several dining centres spread across the campus, including dining halls and food trucks. They provide a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes for a sumptuous meal and snacking.
