About the school

Established in 1967, the Warwick Business School (WBS) was then known as the School of Industrial Relations and Business Studies. By 1988, the School had grown to accommodate five staff in the academic department and 24 students for the postgraduate programme, and its name was changed to Warwick Business School.

The School soon became the University of Warwick’s first business school. Today, it is the biggest department at the University of Warwick and has a presence in over 167 countries, connecting over 53,000 alumni. Konstantin Borisov (an astronaut from Roscosmos) and Jinesh Timbadia (working at EY LLP as a Tax Associate) are among the notable alumni of the School.

The Warwick Business School's primary location is within the University's campus in Coventry, Warwickshire County, offering convenient access to various resources both on and off-campus. Situated just an hour's drive from London, this location provides students with ample opportunities for exploration and personal growth. Additionally, the School boasts a second campus at the Shard in the heart of London, renowned for its distinctive architecture and central location within the UK's capital.
