The College of Engineering provides its students with the best of both worlds. The college has a huge, fascinating and beautiful campus tucked away in the centre of a quaint college town. The University of WisconsinMadison ranks among the world's elite universities and thrives in a town celebrated for its natural beauty, culture, and unique charm. It aslo provides on-campus housing in University Apartments, including Eagle Heights, University Houses, and Harvey Street Apartments. Graduate students, as well as their families, can find a residence in one of these residential buildings. Those who prefer off-campus housing can check the University’s Campus Area Housing Listing Service, which lists private housing vacancies in Madison. The city has several Cooperative houses. The University Housing Dining and Culinary services cater to the residents of the residence halls, university students and faculty. They serve several locations on the campus, including dining markets, coffee shops and convenience stores. Carson’s Market, Four Lakes Market, Liz’s Market, Starbucks, Flamingo Run, etc., are some of the eateries students can visit. The University has over 900 student organisations.
