Established in 2014, Drexel University’s College of Computing and Informatics is a national information and technology education leader. Admissions criteria
When applying to the College of Computing and Informatics, it is essential to visit the college's admissions website and understand the requirements of each programme. The application process is the same for both native and international students who must complete the following steps:

- Click on the admissions section
- Navigate the form to provide personal, educational, and work information
- Review and submit
- An application will only be considered once the application fee has been received along with the admission form
Candidates must then submit the following documents for processing:
- Complete personal information form (online or on-campus)
- A personal statement written by the applicant or a Statement of Purpose (SOP)
- Four-year bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
- A letter of recommendation from an employer, academic, or both
- The applicant's undergraduate transcripts translated into English
- A graduate admissions test result (GMAT - 570)
- Resume/CV
- A GPA of 3.0
- Application Fee: $65 (non-refundable)
International Students:
International students are requested to visit the international admission section on the website and check the admission requirements for their programme choice. Generally, applications require the following documents:
- The applicant's undergraduate transcripts, translated into English
- A graduate admissions test result (GMAT - 570)
- Proof of proficiency in English (TOEFL - 90, Duolingo - 110, Cambridge English Exam - C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency, IELTS - 6.5)
- Proof of proficiency in a local language (country-specific) International candidates must supply the I-20 form and accompanying bank documents. In addition, students must also submit approved official education loans and scholarship letters.
Job placements
CCI's Career Resources at Drexel University provide valuable assistance to students seeking guidance on potential career paths. The department offers access to Handshake, an online platform that allows students to register for career fairs, connect with potential employers, and network with other students. Employers frequently recruit Drexel students for both full-time positions and internships, as well as Capstone Projects (which are usually unpaid).
It's important to note that students must complete a Capstone project as part of their degree programme. Students must complete and submit an application form through the Drexel career website to apply for Capstone projects or internships.
During graduation, career services at Drexel provide support to ensure that students are prepared to enter the workforce. These services include assistance with building resumes, adding relevant work experience (such as research projects and internships), reviewing LinkedIn profiles, and conducting one-on-one mock interviews.
