About the school
The Clemson University College of Science mentors students to transform them into leaders to combat the challenges the ever-changing and interconnected world throws at them. Their focus is to prepare impactful students on a global level. The school has designed its programme curriculum to facilitate the effective transformation of students into leaders. The faculty and staff of Clemson University College of Science share the same targets with their students: to advance in science by becoming superior in discovery, learning, and engagement. The school houses four departments comprising Master's, Science, and Ph.D. degrees in physical, mathematical, and life sciences. The college believes students invest in their future when they initiate their graduation at the institution.

Life at the College of Science
Several resources are available for students through the student services team. It combines all efforts to advise and retain students. In addition, it provides substantial opportunities to develop them professionally so they can become global citizens. The Student Services team helps students with Recruitment, Major discovery, Mentoring, Advising support for special populations, Student enrichment, and Professional development. The university's Clemson Group Fitness programme provides a safe, effective, and innovative environment to help students achieve their fitness and wellness goals. The group offers 70 weekly classes during the Fall and Spring semesters, focusing on cardiovascular training, strength training, or flexibility. In addition, the group encourages students to become group fitness trainers. Intramural sports aim to give students a competitive and social outlet while upholding a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. The Clemson Outdoor Recreation & Education (CORE) Programme provides outdoor adventure activities to students. They schedule instructional programmes throughout the year which include adventure activities such as backpacking, whitewater rafting, paddleboarding, sea kayaking, skiing, and rock climbing are some of the activities arranged by CORE.

The university offers mentorship programmes to its students. Programmes such as COSMIC, ScienceNet, and Tigers on Call help science students develop and excel. The programme helps students reach their goals by getting guidance from mentors. Outstanding and enthusiastic students can become College of Science Student Ambassadors. As an ambassador, students can represent the College of Science student body at campus and community events. The programme helps students enhance their communication skills, be ideal team players, grow professionally, and make lifelong friends. The institute houses over 400 clubs and organisations, including 20 science-focused clubs. Joining one or many of these organisations means making good use of free time for any student. Students can benefit from the various facilities offered by the university, such as the Snow Family Outdoor Fitness and Wellness Complex, which allows students to enjoy and experience outdoor activities.

Admissions criteria
Students must meet the below-mentioned criteria and submit the following documents for admission: -Four-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised university -GPA of 3.0 or higher on a scale of 4.0. -Unofficial transcripts of all colleges and universities attended -Two to Three letters of recommendation -A personal statement (If the applicant is planning a thesis path, he must include names of potential advisers and type of thesis (literature-based or empirical) -Resume/CV -TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE scores (for international applicants)

The university prepares students to become job-ready by offering experiential learning opportunities, internship programmes, or entrepreneurship opportunities. The data for the year 2018-19 from the first destination survey for the College of Science displays a salary range of $18,000 to $350,000 for the Master's and Doctoral profiles.
