Admissions criteria

You will need to complete the postgraduate school online application form along with submitting the following materials:

-Official transcripts -Resume or CV (Curriculum Vitae) -A 250-500 word personal statement describing why you want to pursue a particular program by Clarkson University and what makes you the right candidate for the programme -GMAT/GRE test scores (Some programmes mandatorily require one of these scores, and some include them as optional criteria. The school has also waived the GRE requirement for some of the programmes. You will find these score requirements for your intended program of study by visiting the school website.)

Depending on the program you wish to pursue, there may be some prerequisites.

For example, if you are looking to enroll in their MS in Electrical & Computer Engineering, you must have a BS in electrical engineering or an equivalent field.

Similarly, if you want to pursue MS in Chemical Engineering, the school requires you to have a BS or BE in chemical engineering. In case you have degrees in other science or engineering disciplines, you may be admitted but will have to make up for undergraduate course deficiencies.

Aspirants should check the individual program prerequisites on their website before starting their application. Additionally, international applicants need to submit English proficiency test scores. The minimum test score requirements are TOEFL (80) and TOEFL Essentials (8.5), IELTS (6.5), PTE (56) and Duolingo English Test (115).
