Other areas of interest include Little Italy, Shaker Lakes, Ohio City, Metro Parks (Emerald Necklace), and Cleveland Botanical Garden, to name a few. The Student Affairs Office and the Academic Societies assist medical students in levelling up their personal and professional development. Students can participate in international programmes conducted by the School of Medicine. The college offers comprehensive support to students in a variety of ways, including assistance with elective course planning, classroom assignments, time management, and study techniques. It is committed to providing students with all the available resources and support within its capabilities. The college encourages students to learn outside class through its Consult Tables & Tutoring programme. In this programme, students can study individually or in groups for the whole year by planning regular drop-in sessions during the pre-clinical curriculum. Structure and block content specialists oversee these sessions. Students can improve their personal productivity, study habits, and time management strategies with the help of a Learning Specialist. The Learning Specialist offers one-on-one appointments once a week on Thursday afternoons.
