Aberdare Hall is one of the most popular choices among the students. Built in 1893, it is home to various interesting period features. It is located near the Cathays Park campus and has room for catered and self-catered accommodation options. The students who choose the part-catered option get served evening meals every day from Monday to Friday. This "women's only" facility creates a safe haven for female students studying at the Cardiff Business School. The general amenities for all the residents include a shared bathroom, kitchen, bicycle shed, laundry, gardens, bicycle shed and common room society. For students with hearing impairment, the spaces are equipped with a flashing alarm and vibrating pillow to create an all-inclusive environment.

Admissions criteria

[Guidance for Schools from the Rest of the World / ROW] The Cardiff Business School, being one of the oldest and most prestigious institutes in the field, welcomes students from all corners of the globe. Admission requirements at the Cardiff Business School include the following:

A copy of the degree certificate and transcripts. It should showcase the applicant has achieved a 2:1 honours degree or an equivalent. A reference from the employer that mentions that the applicant has 3 years of work experience. References should not be less than six months old, calculated from the submission date. An updated CV or resume contains all relevant work experience, complete academic history, publications, research, etc. Apart from the documents mentioned above, there are additional requirements for international applicants. Official scores of IELTS (Academic). The minimum cut-off for most courses is 6.5, with the sub skill score not less than 5.5 each. Apart from this, Cambridge Assessment English, EFUS, PTE Academic, TOEFL iBT, and Trinity ISE II/III are also accepted.
