About the school
The College of Arts and Sciences embraces the foundational Christian values and embodies the principles underscoring Baylor University's academic community. Established in 1919, it is the university's most expansive academic division. Baylor offers 20 Master’s and 16 Doctoral degree programs in disciplines within the College of Arts & Sciences. These include M.A. in History, PhD in Geosciences, M.I.J. in International Journalism, PhD in Anthropology, M.A. in Museum Studies, and PhD in History, among other fields.

Admissions criteria
While applying to a graduate program at the College of Arts and Science, learning about the correct admission requirements is essential. The required details and documents include:
- Resume or CV
- Statement of Intent
- An undergraduate degree from a national or internationally recognised university.
- GPA Requirement: You must have a 3.0 GPA over the entire undergraduate degree.
- Letters of recommendation: Certain graduate programs may require you to send letters of recommendation. International students must submit 3 letters of recommendation.
- GRE/GMAT Scores: Certain courses may require GRE/GMAT scores.
- Transcripts: National Applicants: You must use unofficial transcripts when applying. But if you are offered admission, you must submit your original documents. Moreover, if you are admitted before getting a bachelor's degree, you must submit the transcripts on the first day of college. International Applicants: You must submit yearly or semester-wise records from every university or college from which you have earned a degree. The transcripts must highlight the number of lectures, laboratory hours per course, per week, and the grades in each course.
Diplomas/Proof of Degree/Academic Certificates: International students must furnish the records of every degree they have received. The document must have a timestamp and a title to confirm the validity of the degree. The purpose will be fulfilled if the title mentioned in the degrees dn date are conferred with those listed in the transcript. International students must submit a language test score to certify their English proficiency:
Proof of English proficiency: You must obtain the minimum score in the following exams to be eligible- TOEFL Paper-Based exam: 550, TOEFL Internet-Based exam: 80, IELTS: 6.5, and Duolingo: 125. Some exceptions may apply
Transcripts: International Applicants: You must submit yearly or semester-wise records from every university or college from which you have earned a degree. The transcripts must highlight the number of lectures, laboratory hours per course, per week, and the grades in each course.
Original-language versions of all transcripts and academic certificates/diplomas
Additionally, you should provide a separate, precise, word-for-word English-language translation for all academic documents submitted. This translation could be sourced directly from the school or a qualified, certified translator.
Proof of Degree and Transcript: International students must send proof of degree and the transcript to the university.
