The Prodigy Finance story

Prodigy Finance is founded on the philosophy that funding shouldn't be a barrier to education. In 2007, three MBA students recognised that traditional banks don't serve the needs of international students.

Cameron Stevens

Founder and CEO

Cameron Stevens is a serial entrepreneur with a focus on social entrepreneurship and FinTech. He came up with the idea of Prodigy Finance as an international student who experienced challenges funding his degree. Cameron knew his INSEAD classmates were ideal candidates for low-interest loans. But while talent is borderless, and evenly distributed in the world, access to finance is not. Cameron set out to change that by removing financial barriers for high potential people to access the world’s best education. Cameron is a chili fiend, street food aficionado, bookworm, planespotter and relentless traveler.
