Admissions criteria

Admission to graduate programmes at Loyola University Chicago is a selective process, and prospective applicants are encouraged to pay careful attention to the following admissions criteria:

Bachelor's Degree: Candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent to apply for graduate admission

Official Transcripts: Applicants must ensure their official transcripts are sent directly by the college/university in English

Test Requirements: Based on the programme an applicant chooses, they may have to provide test scores, such as GRE, GMAT, LSAT, or MCAT

Letters of Recommendation: Applicants must provide a letter of recommendation, ideally from faculty members or professionals who can speak to the applicant's experience, interests, and motivation for graduate study

Statement of Purpose: The applicant must provide a statement of purpose that aligns the applicant's research interests and career goals with the chosen programme

English Language Proficiency: International applicants must submit official results of the English Proficiency test for their application to be considered. The minimum score requirements are as follows:
