Cameron at the FT Sustainable and Ethical Investment Conference (II)

Liz Reid - November 07, 2013

As you may recall, our CEO, Cameron, recently attended the FT Sustainable and Ethical Investment Conference in London where he spoke about "Banking the Unbankable". His presentation looked at the birth of microfinance, and the growing popularity of many niche financial startups.

Financial Adviser published an article on the conference, which included thoughts on Cameron's presentation, and Prodigy:

"Cameron Stevens, co-founder and chief executive of Prodigy Finance, highlighted inadequacies in the finance sector, looking at the innovative ways in which banking initiatives have been established for the “unbankable”. The latest of these has been Prodigy Finance’s own work in student finance, where it has developed listed education bonds for post-graduate students, mainly from emerging markets, who struggle to find funding elsewhere."
